About Me
Before I became a celebrant I had worked for many years as a funeral director for both a national and independent company and I pride myself on helping families create a funeral that reflects their loved one with dignity and respect.
Prior to working in the funeral industry my background was entertainment so I know how to address a crowd and get over the stories and personal memories you want within the service. Music, pictures, laughs and tears I will create a service to honour your loved one and bring as much comfort to those left behind.
It's your tribute and it's your choice and I am more than happy to guide you through everything and anything you want and help you put it all together.
I am proud to be a part of the Institute Of Civil Funerals
Organisations such as the IOCF ensure standards are upheld within the industry - annually they will scrutinise a selection of my ceremonies to ensure they are of a high enough quality and they insist on regular CPD (continued professional development).
I welcome this, as I strive to be the best Celebrant that I can.
I have passed the highest possible national qualification in Funeral Celebrancy in the UK – Level 3 Diploma – and have been rigorously assessed for my skill to create and deliver an appropriate and unique funeral ceremony.
I have also adopted The Celebrant Accord and I’m also a member of the Good Funeral Guild.
I believe that a funeral should reflect the beliefs and wishes of the family or your loved one and I truly strive to make their tribute as individual as the person they were in life.
